Thanks for visiting! I appreciated the information contained in Chapter Two, especially the information related to section about "engaging people's moral purposes." I strongly agree with the statement on page 10, "Moral purpose in educational change is about improving society through improving educational systems and thus the learning of all citizens." Educational institutions exist to improve the lives of the citizenry and society in-general. "In countries where the gap between high and low student performance is reduced, citizens' health and well-being are measurably better." Therefore, leaders must be prepared for resistence during the change process, therefore, leaders must must be persistent in their efforts and supportive of the stakeholders, (students, educators, community members and parents), so that change, with "moral purpose" may be enacted and lives enhanced.
